A few words about paper sizes...
Deb sells 3 stock paper sizes:
- 8½ x 11 – Letter
- 8½ x 14 – Legal
- 11 x 17 – Also known as B or Ledger
- 13 x 19 – Also known as Super B or Super A3
8½ x 11 is the standard size in the USA. It fits in all laser and inkjet printers (and copiers).
8½ x 14 is another standard size in the US. It fits in almost all printers and copiers, both inkjet and laser.
11 x 17 is less common, especially in laser printers. Many offices may have a larger printer or copy machine that is capable of printing paper which is up to 11" x 17". It's used for larger size charts, spreadsheets, posters, accounting ledgers, etc.
More typical are inkjet printers that are designated as “Wide Format” or “Large Format” which are capable of printing on paper up to 11, 12, even 13 inches wide. (Many people who do "scrapbooking" use these printers, as the standard scrapbook paper size is 12" x 12"). HP, Epson, and Canon (among others) manufacture these types of printers.
As of July, 2010, some of the printers capable of printing paper up to 13 x 19 inches are:
- HP Officejet 7000
- Epson Workforce 1100
- Canon Pixma
By special order, we can supply paper sizes up to 25" x 38".
