Madeline Island School of the Arts is the country's newest art and craft school located on a uniquely restored Wisconsin dairy farm in the middle of an island surrounded by Lake Superior and the other Apostle Islands. Accessible only by ferry, boat or plane, Madeline Island has an art and craft tradition that dates back more than three hundred years during which time three different flags have flown on her shores.
